Holistic Hypertension Care in Westminster
Take Control of the “Silent Killer” at Medika Health with Expert Doctors in Westminster.
A partnership approach to managing high blood pressure, combining medical expertise with lifestyle support to future-proof your heart.

Why Managing Hypertension Matters
High blood pressure (hypertension) is often called the “silent killer” because it rarely shows symptoms until significant damage is done. Without management, it increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease.
At Medika Health Clinic, we don’t just treat the numbers; we treat the person. We understand that blood pressure is influenced by genetics, lifestyle, stress, and environment. Our goal is to partner with you to lower your risk and improve your quality of life.
Your Comprehensive Hypertension Care Program Starts Here
We utilise a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring you have a team of experts looking after your heart health all under one roof.
Accurate Diagnosis & Monitoring
Utilising our on-site Western Diagnostic Pathology and clinical assessments to get a clear picture of your heart health.
Specialist Heart Health Care
24hr BP
We offer eligible patients 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. This screening tool checks blood pressure hourly and provides a report for your doctor. This information enables accurate diagnosis of hypertension and can guide blood pressure management
ABPI
As part of heart health screening we can offer eligible patients Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) measurement. This picks up discrepancies in blood pressure between the limbs and gives an early warning sign of Cardiovascular disease.
ECG
Our specialised GPs are able to offer Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing to help screen for heart disease and warning signs of cardiovascular health issues.
Holter Monitor
Should we pick up any abnormal heart rhythm, our team is able to offer 24 hour Holtor Monitor ECGs on site. These wearable devices monitor your heart for an extended period (1 to three days) and can pick up heart rhythm problems to direct further management. All Holter monitor recordings are reported by a specialist Cardiologist.
Echo
We can arrange on site Echocardiogram (echo) testing, performed by trained sonographers at Medika Health Clinic. These detailed scans of the heart can assess for structural and functional issues of the heart and its valves. Echos are reported by specialist Cardiologists and are a fundamental part of Cardiovascular care.
GP Management Plans
Our competent GPs in Westminster will create a personalised Chronic Disease Management Plan tailored to your specific medical history.
Medication Management
Careful prescription and review of medications to ensure efficacy and minimise side effects.

Lifestyle & Dietary Support
Medication is only half the battle. We guide you through practical lifestyle changes, from nutrition to stress reduction, to naturally lower your blood pressure.
Comorbidity Care
Hypertension often accompanies other conditions like diabetes or kidney issues. Our team manages your health holistically to prevent complications.
