From November 1, you might see news stories about GPs “returning to bulk billing”. We want to be open and honest that this will not apply to us. We will continue with our mixed-billing policy.
At Medika Health Clinic we remain mixed billing so we can: Take time to listen and explain; Offer continuity of care from GPs who know you; Provide safe, comprehensive medicine – not rushed care; Remain locally owned – a small business, employing locals.
The government rebate does not cover the true cost of providing quality medical care. We know cost of living pressures are real, and we continue to offer options such as online referrals and scripts and opportunities such as tele-health so you can call on days when you are working.
